Budi Santoso
Founder & Chief Executive Officer
Credentials: Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL), MBA in Hospitality Management, former Captain with Garuda Indonesia.
Bio: Budi is the visionary force behind Bali Heli Charter. With over 15,000 flight hours and a distinguished career as a Captain for Indonesia’s flagship carrier, Garuda Indonesia, he combines a deep passion for aviation with a keen understanding of the luxury travel market. After years of flying international routes, Budi saw an opportunity to bring a higher standard of private aviation to his home country. He founded Bali Heli Charter under the Juara Holding Group to create a service that meets the exacting demands of HNW travelers, prioritizing safety, discretion, and bespoke experiences. He remains an active pilot, ensuring our operational standards are consistently held to the highest level.
Dewi Lestari
Head of Operations & Client Relations
Credentials: Certified Aviation Manager (CAM), IATA Diploma in Airline Operations, former Operations Controller at a major Indonesian FBO.
Bio: Dewi is the logistical mastermind who ensures every charter is executed with seamless precision. Her extensive experience in flight operations, ground handling, and coordination with AirNav Indonesia (the national air navigation authority) makes her an invaluable asset. Dewi manages everything from flight planning and landing permits to ground crew scheduling and VIP client coordination. She is renowned for her ability to solve complex logistical challenges with grace and efficiency, ensuring that even the most ambitious itineraries are realized flawlessly. Her commitment to operational excellence is a cornerstone of our client promise.
Captain Iwan Kusuma
Chief Pilot & Head of Training
Credentials: 9,000+ Helicopter Flight Hours, Type Ratings on Airbus H130 & Bell 429, Certified Flight Instructor (CFI), DGCA Indonesia Examiner.
Bio: Captain Iwan is a master of his craft and a leader in the Indonesian aviation community. His career has taken him from critical medical evacuation missions in remote Papua to complex aerial survey flights over volcanic terrain. As Chief Pilot, he not only commands many of our most demanding flights but also oversees the rigorous training and certification program for all Bali Heli Charter pilots. He ensures every pilot on our team not only meets but exceeds the stringent requirements of the Indonesian DGCA, with a special focus on terrain-specific safety protocols and superior customer interaction skills.
Ayu Wulandari
Lead Experience Concierge
Credentials: Les Roches Diploma in Hospitality Management, former Guest Relations Manager at Amankila.
Bio: Ayu personifies the bespoke luxury at the core of our service. With a background honed at one of Bali’s most revered luxury resorts, she possesses an innate understanding of the needs of discerning travelers. Ayu and her team are the primary point of contact for our clients, curating every detail of the journey beyond the flight itself. From arranging seamless transfers with our luxury vehicle partners to securing exclusive reservations at cliffside restaurants or coordinating with private yacht charters, Ayu transforms a simple flight into a comprehensive, unforgettable travel experience. She speaks fluent English, Japanese, and Indonesian.
Putra Wijaya
Safety & Compliance Manager
Credentials: ICAO Certified Safety Management Systems (SMS) Auditor, B.Sc. in Aeronautical Engineering, Lead Auditor for ISO 9001.
Bio: Putra is the guardian of our most important commitment: safety. He is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of our Safety Management System, which is the foundation of our entire operation. Putra conducts regular internal audits of all aircraft maintenance records, crew training logs, and operational procedures to ensure we are in full compliance with Indonesian CASR and international best practices. He liaises directly with the DGCA and other regulatory bodies, ensuring Bali Heli Charter remains at the forefront of aviation safety standards in the region. His meticulous, data-driven approach provides peace of mind for our team and our clients.
